Melissa Charles

ACTOR. DIRECTOR. CHOREOGRAPHER. PRODUCER. TEACHING ARTIST.

Melissa is an artist and educator based on the East Coast.  She holds a BA in Drama from the
University of Virginia and a certificate in Non-Profit Management from Duke University.  Proud Member of Equity and SAG-AFTRA.

Melissa has appeared in film, television, and commercials and has performed in theaters throughout the country. She currently portrays the character of Lydia Ketcham on the AMC Series, Turn: Washington’s Spies, now in it’s 3rd season.

In addition to her work as a performer, Melissa worked regularly as a teaching artist, director, choreographer and producer, and is the Artistic Director of DMR Adventures.  Melissa is passionate about providing inclusive and professional performing arts education, and about using the arts as a vehicle for building community.
